Demographic Transition

Today, class was very easy. We read a 3 page packet about The Demographic Transition. Demographic Transition is the rate of natural increase related to economic and industrial development. The process has 4 stages and each country is in one of them. The first stage is high birth and death rates. Stage two is Industrial revolution. Technology helped benefit health and food so that people are more healthy. The last stage is medical revolution. better health helps out all the population rates. Everything I just said is put into a graph and describes population change over time.

GUNS GERMS AND STEEL DAY 3

Today we watched more of the guns germs and steel documentary. A lot of what makes a country or place successful is animal domestication. Animals that have been domesticated are goats, sheep,pigs,horses,2 types of camels, water buffalo, llamas,reindeer,yaks, mythans, and bali cattle.The fertile crescent had one of the most lucky geographical places ever. Great plants and animals.

last day of semester

Today in class we watched jeopardy because we had nothing else to do and the quarter is over. This semester was pretty fun because my grades have been good and i learned alot in this class. I have mr. Fendryk next semester so I hope he has a good class. Watching jeopardy is fun because most people dont know the answers to the questions.
